Campbell Construction makes ‘emergency addition’ to Victoria General Hospital
CEI ARCHITECTURE
Premier Gordon Campbell recently broke ground at the new $18.8 million addition to the Victoria General Hospital.
The Victoria General Hospital project will allow the facility to accommodate 43,000 patient visits a year, more than triple the capacity of the current building.
Campbell Construction Ltd. is the general contractor and CEI Architecture designed the building.
The consulting engineers are Hirshfield Williams Timmins (mechanical), Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (structural) and RFA Consulting Electrical Engineering. Construction is expected to be complete by December 2009.
