The University of Victoria's new Ocean, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences Building

Interior finishing work is underway at the University of Victoria’s new Ocean, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences Building. The $66.6-million facility will be a scientific brain trust, housing the School of Earth & Ocean Sciences, the Department of Chemistry, the Canadian Centre for Climate Modelling & Analysis and the Department of Astrology’s dome and rooftop telescopes. Stuart Olson Constructors Inc. is the construction manager and Chernoff Thompson Architects is the architect. The building is scheduled for occupancy in 2009.
