Ventin Group readies working drawings for Goodes Hall at Queen’s University

Ventin Group Ltd. architects have begun the working drawings for a $25 million addition to Goodes Hall at Queen’s University.

Located on University Avenue in Kingston, the 70,000-square-foot addition will be three stories high and will be accompanied by 90 new parking spaces.

With a district steam heating system and concrete and steel structural frame, the addition will house classrooms and administrative offices.

Read Jones Christofferson are completing the structural engineering designs, Morrison Hershfield Ltd. is working on the electrical engineering designs and The Mitchell Partnership is completing mechanical engineering designs.

Queen’s University expects to tender this project in spring 2009.
