Two British Columbia projects win Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships awards

Two British Columbia projects have won national awards from the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships.

The Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre and the William R. Bennett Bridge were given the Silver Award for Infrastructure.

The hospital was the first new regional hospital to open in B.C. in the past 30 years. It was completed on time and on budget.

The Kelowna bridge was finished 108 days ahead of schedule and on budget.

The awards recognize innovation and excellence in the structuring and delivery of public-private partnerships.

B.C. currently has $10 billion invested in more than 25 partnership projects, including $5 billion of private capital.
