Calgary court not yet in session

The new $50 million Calgary Court Centre is taking shape. The project involves the restoration of the Court of Appeal building, construction of a 700-stall parkade and an urban park on the Queen’s Bench site. The construction manager is Cana Construction Company Ltd. Construction on the project began in February 2009 and is expected to be completed in December 2010. Other companies involved in the project include Kasian Architecture Interior Design & Planning, Stantec Consulting Ltd., Hemisphere Engineering Inc. and Stebnicki, Robertson & Associates Ltd.
