Concrete truck driver got off easy

Re: Concrete truck driver gets 8 years in jail for killing 5 in Calgary, (Oct. 21, 2009)

This ‘person’ should get life. Too many people suffer at the hands of drivers who drink and drive. There is nothing involuntary about their actions.

It’s not like they are already inept and decide to drive. They make the choice while sober, which indicates intent. With this intent they deliberately go out and wreak havoc on the roads and kill innocent people.
