Project progress

Work begins on future home of Hockey Canada in Calgary

Work is well underway on the future home of Hockey Canada in Calgary. The $225 million Athletic and Ice Complex at Canada Olympic Park will include three NHL sized rinks and one international sized ice surface.

The construction manager is Cana Construction Co. Ltd., while the architects are Graham Edmunds Cartier Architects and Stantec Architecture Ltd.

The mechanical contractor is Botting & Associates Alberta Ltd. and Custom Electric Ltd. is the electrical contractor. The project is expected to be finished by the end of the year. The complex will also be used for minor and recreational hockey.
