Imperial Oil choses Finning International as mining equipment supplier for oilsands project
The Canadian division of Finning International Inc. has been awarded a mining equipment and product support agreement with Imperial Oil Limited.
Finning was chosen as the mining mobile equipment supplier for the Kearl oilsands project. The ten-year agreement includes the supply of Caterpillar equipment, parts, specialized maintenance labour and training.
The first phase of the $8 billion Kearl Lake oilsands project was approved in May 2009.
