Wooden Tower

CEI ARCHITECTURE

B.C.-based CEI Architecture has been recognized with an honourable mention in the inaugural Office Building of the Future Design Competition.

The contest was open to NAIO's 15,000 members across North America and CEI was the only Canadian company recognized. The objective was to outline a vision and a design concept for the year 2020.

Their proposal was a 40-storey facility predominantly comprised of wood.

It is estimated the tower would sequester 10,000 tons of carbon.
