Worker injured in Richmond
A construction worker was injured in a workplace incident at the River Green development in Richmond, B.C.
“Some very large glass panels were being unloaded, when one slipped and hit the worker,” said WorkSafeBC spokesperson Megan Johnston. “He sustained very serious injuries.”
The incident occurred on Jan. 31.
CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story erroneously reported that the worker died of his injuries. The Journal of Commerce apologizes for any confusion this may have caused.
