UBC Student Union Project

DIALOG

Bird Construction is the construction manager for a $103 million student union building at the University of British Columbia.

Dialog is the architect and MHPM Project Managers Inc. is the project manager. The structure will reach five storeys above grade and one below. The project is aiming for LEED Platinum certification. Consulting engineers on the project include Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (structural), Applied Engineering Solutions (electrical) and AME Group Engineering (mechanical).

A portion of the new facility will sit over an underground bus terminal.
