Fort McMurray Bridge nearly complete

A concrete pour is one of the final tasks before the Grant MacEwan Bridge in Fort McMurray reaches the end of construction.

The pour is on the northbound Franklin Avenue ramp and will take seven days to cure.

Workers will also be adjusting signage to accommodate new traffic patterns, installing a vertical bridge clearance sign on the exterior girder of the Franklin Bridge, co-ordinating illumination of Grant MacEwan Bridge and Franklin Avenue tunnel, and installing roadside delineators and removing concrete barricades.
