The owner will not release contact information for the EPC Contractor. Engineering design was completed in 2012. Sub trade tender and construction will proceed summer, 2013.
Project:concrete foundation, structural steel frame, electric heating system, construction of a 36 MW biomass power plant. will use wood byproducts from the NorSask Forest Products mill near Meadow Lake to generate up to 36 megawatts (MW) of renewable, low-emissions power for the province of Saskatchewan. Biomass is an industry term for using renewable organic material to generate energy.
