| Note: | Invited Request For Proposals (RFP) for architects to complete detailed design and working drawings closed January 28, 2013 at Owner's Rep. Owner is finalizing an agreement with an architect. The award will be finalized early summer, 2013. The architect will complete design for this project and the affordable housing project followed under report number 9171087. Design schedules will be finalized upon award. Owner's Rep is seeking retail tenants. If no retail tenants are found the retail component of the project will be dropped. Tender and construction schedules will be determined upon award.
The University of Winnipeg Community Renewal Corporation is acting as a business consultant on behalf of the Province and approximately 20 community organizations, including: the North End Community Renewal Corporation (NECRC), Urban Circle Training Centre Inc., The Selkirk Avenue BIZ, Andrews Street Family Centre, Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre, Ndinawemaaganag Endaawaad Inc., Community Education Development Agency, the University of Winnipeg Department of Urban and Inner-City Studies, Red River College and SEED Winnipeg. |
