Note: Project is going through environmental assessment approval process with the BC environmental assessment office (EAO). Engineering design and construction schedules are undefined. A final investment decision on the entire project will be taken by the end of 2014. See related project number 9141665.
Progress Energy has been bought by Malaysia's Petronas.
Project:construction of a natural gas pipeline which will transport natural gas from North Montney gas-producing region near Fort St. John to the Pacific Nothwest LNG export facility in Port Edward near Prince Rupert. This will be 750 kilometres long and 48 inch diameter and will have an initial capacity of approx 2 billion cubic feet per day with the potential for expansion up to approx 3.6 billion cubic feet per day.
