Western Canada well represented at heavy equipment rodeo

Three western Canadians will take part in the Case Triple Threat Rodeo at the 2012 World of Concrete conference on Jan. 24.

Brent Paquette, a contractor with Getrrrdone Backhoe Service in Abbotsford, B.C., Justin Dyck with Rubydale Asphalt Works in Airdrie, Alberta and Trevor Koch from Regina Saskatchewan are three of 59 semi–finalists who will face off against other equipment operators with a skid steer loader, a wheel loader and a backhoe in the competition.

More than 1,900 participants competed in 54 Case Triple Threat Rodeos throughout North America late last year.

The winner of the final contest will become North American champion with a grand prize of a new Case TR270 compact track loader and a Towmaster trailer for their sponsoring company.

The winner will also personally receive a new pick up truck.
